"I took this to my church's covered dish dinner and everybody was talking about how good the "home made apple pie" was...at least until they found out that I brought it...then they were asking...where did you get THAT pie? (because they all know I don't cook - ha ha ha)....it has since become a church favorite and I'm often asked to "bake" one of my famous "home made pies". Great pie!!!"

Good for a frozen pie

"I really wanted to love this apple pie after reading all the reviews, but instead I will say that it is good and much better than other frozen pies I have tasted at friends homes. I let some friends try it and they will change to Schwans. I have been baking fresh apple pies for years, so I guess I am just used to homemade. I still think this is a good product to have in the freezer when you are in the mood for pie."

Full of Apples! YUM!

"This pie is excellent and second only to you own homemade apple pie. The pie is full with apples and looks exactly as the picture when you take it out of the oven and slice it (minus the caramel sauce). If you don't have time to make your own, then have this on hand in your freezer. Next time, I am going to try and sprinkle the top of the pie with cinnamon sugar when I take it out of the oven! Enjoy!"
